Happy birthday to me..

Quarter century today.

Don't know if I've learned much so far.

Does anyone else have some golden nuggets of wisdom for me?

Much love.

It is a square number, being 5² = 5 × 5. It is the smallest square that is also a sum of two squares: 25 = 3² + 4². Hence it often appears in demonstrations of the Pythagorean theorem.

25 is a centered octagonal number and an automorphic number.

25 has an aliquot sum of 6 and is the first number to have an aliquot sequence that does not culminate in 0 through a prime.

It is the smallest base 10 Friedman number as it can be expressed by its own numbers: 5².

It is also a Cullen number. 25 is the smallest pseudoprime satisfying the congruence 7n = 7 mod n. It is also a Somer pseudoprime based on 6.

25 is the smallest aspiring number — a composite non-sociable number whose aliquot sequence does not terminate.

Happy birthday!

Handy hint:
When in a foreign country, don't eat fruit you can't peel.

anon,
i prefer 24 to 25, but that was pretty interesting.

hunter!
Thanks!

I'll try to keep that in mind next time i travel abroad.

i can't help but wonder what the risks are for eating unpeelable fruit..

and if the fruit has a peel, e.g. an apple, should you still peel it, or is eating it as is fine?

I saw you on your birthday - so this is somewhat belated advice...

Be careful of who you trust, especially yourself.

To quote Karen Zoid, in your twenties you try and find yourself, and in your thirties you meet someone else.

There is always a reason to enjoy dark chocolate - don't settle for the cheap bad quality stuff. Never spoil a good chocolate opportunity with inferior chocolates.

Love is ferocious.

To catch a dragonfly make a circular motion with your index finger in front of its eyes until it is dazed, then pick it up by its wings.

Arnica is good for bruises.

There is nice opera on radio RSG on a Sunday evening.

The juice from uncooked (raw) potato, grated, helps for acid burn and stomach ache. The juice is very alkaline and healthful.

God is good - Jesus lives.
