here i am, at the office on a saturday. it makes my heart bleed. never thought it would happen to me.
so, tomorrow, i drive the 360 odd kilometres to joburg. then, at some ungodly hour on monday morning, i fly to nelspruit, all by myself, and get a car and drive off into the sunset -- all for the job.. sigh. im supposed to prepare for the new job, but im still suffering through the old job. :(
i also do not have directions at all. which is no fun. :( [well, i have some, but i dont know the place!!!]
*sigh*
im a busy bee.

It' ok. We all do the working on Saturday thing once in a while. You are not alone! At least you have lots of time to think and relax on your long drives -- depending on psycho drivers you find in jhb...
Sounds like an adventure to me. Just watch out for hitchhikers with power tools and/or large, burlap bags with obvious blood stains.

driving in jhb isnt so bad. i pretty much get onto the N14, head to my bro's place in centurion, park my car, and he drives from then, till i go home again. :D
thanks, morb, i'll keep that in mind. altho, im not in the habit of picking up hitchhikers of ANY kind. im just a gril by herself without any form of weapon, after all.
Hey, khat, i got the job, but i cant afford cape town. i got a job in the big city, but i wanted the job at the branch in suburbia. hearing "no vacancies" is really starting to peeve me.

nah, this is just a one week project in nelspruit. im outa here on friday. its going well. im am on schedule and have no problems to date. *sigh* this is the good life.
the office gave me a hyundai getz, MUCH better than my car at home. and im staying at a 4 star hotel. the casino is across the street from the hotel, which links up to this huge mall. this must be what heaven is like [but without the having to work part].

hey everyone,
when i say new job, i just mean its a new client. im still doing the same job over and over and over again.
the nelspruit thing was a computer audit tho. where you evaluate the pc environment of the client, to determine whether you can rely on the pc controls. sigh.
its over now. it was tonnes of fun. was a great client. friendly and helpful.
