maxim of the times

friends and neighbours!

i find it difficult to write/type up anything decent when im happy. but, to those of you interested, today, i am happy. and, indeed, for the rest of the week and the 2 that follow, i will be happy. in this daze of blissful euphoria, i will remain.

happiness may very well be transient and come from within, but, ... i dunno. sometimes it can be caused by an external source, as in my case.

there is something to be said for human touch. hugging often. feeling loved.

there is something to be said for sharing thoughts and being held.

happiness is a drug. and i am addicted.

ps -- if anyone knows how a "feed" works, i wish to learn about/use it in my daily blogging. its supposed to be an alerting sort of thing --> lets you know when certain web pages are updated. please help me... im... fragile.

I once heard that happiness is a warm puppy ... if you're a hungry bear.

Better to be addicted to happiness than black tar heroin.

Better an addiction to black tar heroin than military 48 hour heavy assualt grade coffee with amphetamines losely disguised as sugar cubes...

How did I know you were happy? You're a new friend who thinks clearly from the position of one on the outside, one who blends well enough with intellectuals, and yet is always seperate. I read closely when my eyes close and everything else opens. That's when I want to write my best, too. I have to go write soon, a stream of consciousness that crushes me as we speak. Glad to type freely to you.

Thanks for the support and I hope you read and drop sarcastic and provocative wisdom of any nature that strikes you on my poems and whatnot. I put your link up, too. It's nice to be connected around the world on so many levels.

except you probably hate self proclaimed or slavishly followed iconoclasts and the whole rest of the hoity toity intellectual fulcrum out there, with their trite wisdom and narrow acceptance of truth.

Fuckem all and let darwin sort it

ek sal probeer, NSP, mar dis ni moeilik om gelukkig te wees wanneer mens ni meer alleen is ni.

hi, anon, those silly chinese. they only say that coz they live in nature and have all kinds of minerals and kung fu to make them live longer.

hi, morb. what's black tar heroin? sounds bad. i prefer kitties to puppies, really. but, its probably all the same to a hungry bear.

dear eric313,
you shame me with your praise.

**blush**

i'm really a fake, a wanna-be. without the talent or skill, or courage, to do what i really want to.

i see we share the "commentwhore" gene

Is that what the gene is called?
I'll be carefull with it. Good thing it doesn't spread.

Thanks for the comments, whore-ish or not. Keep blushing.

Happiness...something that I don't believe was meant to be known by all. For the lucky few...hold onto it. To most of us, happiness is only a bitter aftertaste.

I hoped you'd like that one. It's brutal and true, like so much else.
